Description

The Singing Bird Sangha was established in October 1997 to practice mindful living in the tradition of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh. We meet regularly for meditation, including sitting, walking, and singing, and for teachings and dharma discussion. The Sangha has a children’s program and has events that bring the children’s group and the adult sangha together several times a year. Additional opportunities for nurturing and support of our Buddhist practice are provided through retreats, potluck suppers, mindful eating, tea meditations, and other social functions and practices.

MEETINGS:

Sundays, 5:00-6:30 pm
Doors open at 4:30 and meditation starts at 5:00 pm
Zen Desert Sangha
3226 N Martin AVE, Tucson AZ.

First and Third Thursdays of the Month, 6:00-7:00 pm
2415 E 6th ST, Tucson AZ

Please see the "Files" area and look under "Meeting Information" for directions, format, and other meeting information.

Re: It Takes a Village, Much gratitude
I am sorry that I missed Buddha's Birthday. Had I known you would be looking at the eclipse I would have come. Astronomy events keep me grounded spiritually.
