Description
A friendly gathering place for people who collect and use vintage and antique Singer sewing machines. Whether you have a treasured treadle or a fancy Featherweight, your thoughts are welcome here. Oh, and if you don't have a vintage Singer sewing machine, never mind - we'll talk you into one! There's no such thing as a silly question. We are not here to establish a dollar value for your machine, or to help you buy or sell a machine -- rather we are here to facilitate love and use of these machines.

Our homepage photo is in honor of Bill Eaton, OSMG ("Old Sewing Machine Guy/Gal") 'extraordinaire,' and very knowledgeable 'old Singer man.' Bill passed away on 05/19/2009. Bill was a long-time member of this group, and left his mark on each of us by wonderfully (and patiently) sharing his knowledge and expertise of machines. Many of us owe a working machine or two to Bill's steady and easy to follow suggestions and instructions! His breadth of knowledge, eagerness to help, and his wonderful humor will be sorely missed.
