Formed in 1940, the Silver Spring Garden Club meets monthly at Brookside Gardens in Wheaton, MD. Most members live in Silver Spring, MD, or the DC-area.

Meetings are held at Brookside Gardens the third Monday of each month except July, August, and December. The meetings are open to the public and free.

To join, mail your $10 check, made payable to the "Silver Spring Garden Club," to our Treasurer, Trudi Wolin, 632 Whitingham Drive, Silver Spring, MD 20904. Our nominal dues fee is one of the best bargains in town, and includes discounts on many items at Hoover-Fisher Florists in Four Corners, the Wild Bird Center in Wheaton, and Smith & Hawkin Garden Shop in Chevy Chase.

Our newsletter, The Grapevine, is published monthly except July and August by the Silver Spring Garden Club, Silver Spring, Maryland.

The big annual Silver Spring Garden Club fundraiser is the Garden Mart plant sale takes place the Saturday before Mother's Day at Brookside Gardens, Wheaton, MD, from 9am -1pm. Come early in the day for best selection!
