Silk Ribbon Heirlooms is a discussion group dedicated to the beautiful art of silk ribbon embroidery. We hope to generated sharing and discussion surrounding this timeless and wonderful pasttime. To join the group, you must explain your interest in silk ribbon embroidery and related arts. Blank requests will be denied to reduce spam on the list. Silk ribbon can be used to embellish a multitude of items from crazy quilts to wearables, as well as home decor items. Sometimes we do it just for fun. Our hope is that people feel free to share and learn and most of all enjoy the creative interchange. Vendors will be encouraged to market appropriate items on SATURDAY which will be our official Vendor Day. The list will be moderated for the initial subscription and for new vendors. Anyone who does not meet the requirement for vendors will not be approved. If an inappropriate post is sent ( such as internet spam), that list member will be removed. This includes personal sewing related items for sale, or promoting sales items for others. Vendors must be members of Silk Ribbon Heirlooms. Policies and other information will be posted in the files as the list develops but we really want to members to feel free and comfortable.

If you have a creation to share, feel free to create a folder with your name and post photos in the gallery and write to the list to let us know.
