Thanks for your note. I've tried to describe the simpliest way to make the
pillowcase. First, you take your yard of fabric (I generally also tear a
straight edge on the top and bottom because sometimes they just don't cut
straight at the store). With right sides together you turn up the bottom edge.
You could also serge it or just sew it but that might lead to fraying in the
laundry. (btw, either end can be the bottom, lol).
Second, I alway cut or rip away the selvedge which is the 1/2" on the fabric
length. Then I either serge or turn up and sew the long edge.
Third, I measure down about 4 1/2" from the open edge and press. I turn under a
bit and sew that hem down. Press and you're done. Embroider as desired.
Let me know which part you don't understand and I'll try to clarify. It takes
about 10 minutes to make a simple pillowcase and then embroidery takes a bit of
time
