This group is about special vegetarian cuisines for monks and spiritual persons.
Shojin Ryori is the Japanese style of Vegetarian Buddhist cooking, specially for monks. The temple cuisine of China (Zhai) and Korea are related. Similar vegetarian cuisine is used by spritual Hindus and Jains in India which is called Satvika.
These cooking styles are often used forindividuals who are considered to be spiritually advanced; however they may be enjoyed by anyone.
