The ShipModelers-Forum is geared toward the novice or the inexperienced ship model builder. It is a group where the many experienced model builders who are members of the list can assist those model makers that are not as experienced. It is a list for asking questions, learning about, and enjoying, the wonderful world of ship model building.

The ShipModelers-Forum is an un-moderated list. Polite behavior is expected at all times and flaming or bad behaviour will be dealt with immediately. Though we do expect some chit chat at times, we expect the bulk of posts to be ship model related.
For those subjects not ship model related a seperate list SMF-Discuss has been created so that any subject can be discussed to exhaustion no matter what it is, this list was created specifically for this purpose to take the none-ship model related discussions away from the main list and you will need to subscribe to the SMF-Discuss list seperately.

Membership is open with but one exception - You must put your name and location (i.e. - State and /or Country) into your Yahoo profile in order to be approved as a member.
