Shemsu Set (The followers of Set) is a group, one of the first, created for
the Ancient Egyptian God Set (Sutekh, Setekh, Seth, Suti, etc...) and His
Shemsu. We try to follow as closely as possible the worship of Set as we
know from present historical and Egyptological recountance of the religion
of Kemet (Ancient Egypt). In this, the list is dedicated to those who bend
their backs towards Set, His image and His wisdom. This is obtained through
the study of available ancient Egyptian text and text created on the
pertinent subjects by the past, present and future Egyptologists. The
prospect of individual knowledge and worship is welcome here. Also,
companionship and friendship is hoped to be acheived here.

While Shemsu Set is pretty open and tolerant to many individual ideas and
notion, there are some things that we do not espouse. First off, are not
affiliiated with any Temple or group , and in this, have many different out
looks and vast array of individuals. We do not agree with, but do not stop
others in their persoanl agendas, of self worshipping or Left Hand Path
initiatives. There are two spin off groups, one being a sister site to
Shemsu Set, that are dedicated to this kind of thought and philosophy.
Please check the links below. Lastly we do not accept name calling, putting
down, and flaming. Debates are fine, but when the moderators feel that they
are getting out of hand, or unruly, they will be put a stop to. These for
now are our only rules.
