Sheldonlathe is for sharing information about Sheldon, Sebastian, and Vernon machine tools. The Files, Photos, and Links sections contain basic information. Members may upload machine photos to the Photos section.

For a manual or parts for your Sheldon, check the Files for "Sheldon Parts FAQ" and the Links sections for sources. The FAQ is updated regularly so check this file for new information. If you have resource information please let me know so I can add it to the FAQ.

To add your info to the Sheldon database, go to Database and create a new record for your machine. You can also locate members who own specific models of machines to contact them.

Prospective members must request membership with a coherent reason for joining. "Hello all" or "I like your group" are NOT reasons; state WHY you want to join. Write something that contains the word "lathe" or "Sheldon" and a bit about yourself, and what you expect to gain from membership. Spammers will be banned from this group, reported to their ISP, and their posts will be deleted.

Sheldonlathe is not for disussion of politics, religion, or s_x. If posts, user name, or sig contain such references I will deny/revoke membership. Be respectful of others.

Sheldonlathe2 was established to post photos and files when this main group was low on space. If you can't post files or photos to Sheldonlathe because of a space problem, you can post to Sheldonlathe2 but you will have to join that group.
