Sharing is Giving is a Free Cycle style group where you can give away things you no longer want or need and in turn ask for and receive things you do need! If you are in Sonoma County and believe that one man's trash is another man's treasure, then feel free to join!

Please when posting to this group use the Offer, Wanted, Taken, Received system. In other words, when you have something you want to give you post Offer: and the item. When the item is taken by someone, post a Taken: post to let others know. Want something? Post a Wanted: When someone fulfils your want, post a Received: to let others know that you got what you needed. Please include your city/town in the body of your message - this group serves all of Sonoma County!

This group isn't very strict, but please do not try to buy, trade or sell things. Don't create a "shopping list" of wants either - it's a bit unfair to others. Try to refrain from asking for things that you know a complete stranger won't give you (cash, diamond rings, an airplane...). Also, please don't "discuss" on the board - this is a place of giving, not chatting. And PLEASE keep it clean and legal. This is a family-friendly site.
