File - Monthly Reminder
(NOTE: from Moderator)
This is just a monthy reminder of the rules, this is a community type of group.
Please polite to each other and remember this is all volunteer commitments.
If you respond to an offer, please be on time picking it up, do NOT be a no
show, this ruins it for others. People are taking time out of their day to give
you something FREE, so please show up, on time.
All new members will be on moderation until the moderators can be certain that
you are going to play nice. If for some reason you are missed after a while of
playing nice, give us a reminder, and we will take care of it for you.
We want your experience to be a fun one so, if you are receiving emails that you
feel are offensive or if you notice the same person is taking everything you are
offering contact use and let us know. If you folks do not let us know what is
happening off the message board, we have no way of knowing.
We want this to be a nice fun way to help each other and our future.
Some basic rules:
When posting articles whether offering or wanting, please enter the item with
the offer/taken, wanted/received in the subject line. Then the remainder of the
story in the body of the post.
Example: Subject line: Offer: (item) Then in the body describe the item. When
it is taken, In the Subject line Taken (item). No need to put anything in the
body if you don't choose to.
The same goes with Wanted and Received, put in the Subject line Wanted
(item). Then what type you are looking for in the body. Then when you receive it
do the same as taken, in the subject line Received (item). In the body you can
say thank you or what ever you want.
We only use and Please remember this goes in subject line.
Offered:(item) Taken:(item) Wanted:(item) Received:(item)
ADMIN: is ONLY for moderators use, NO exceptions.
We strongly suggest (not require) that you post an offer BEFORE posting a
wanted. This just helps build a giving community. If you can not post an offer
as a first post, please, please, post one soon. We all have something that is
just sitting there that can bless someone in need of it.
Thank you, your moderator:
