Sharing Is Giving is part of a growing number of locally and independently owned free community groups where members post items they no longer need or want and are willing to give away or items they need or would like to receive for free. Many members use the site to find items for people in need such as people whose home has burned .

The goal of Sharing Is Giving is to reduce landfill waste. To achieve this goal, we need to build a strong local community. A strong community develops when we are considerate of one another.

This list is for people in or around the Chattanooga area. When joining please let us know your General location. Upon membership approval, you will receive an email welcoming you to the group, and familiarizing you with our few basic rules. Please read over this email prior to posting.
