WELCOME to the Shaping Our Summit Electronic Group (eGroup). This eGroup replaces the previous listserve. The purpose of this Egroup is to facilitate efficient sharing of information about upcoming meetings and events, community involvement opportunities, and important issues that impact the long-term
well being of Summit County. Please keep these guidelines in mind when sending messages to the Egroup.
We will now be using this eGroup to simultaneously communicate about the relevant activities of this effort. Please make note that this is a free service and therefore you will see advertisements of various types attached to messages.

DETAILS

This eGroup has been created to facilitate simultaneous communication among all participants. An eGroup is a tool that allows e-mail messages and documents sent to an eGroup address (ShapingOurSummit@egroups.com) to be distributed automatically via email to the entire list of participants, and to be archived on the eGroup web site (http://www.egroups.com/group/ShapingOurSummit). You may go to the web site to look up past email messages, store attachments, inquire about members of the group, etc.

Please keep in mind that the eGroup address automatically sends information to ALL MEMBERS of the eGroup. Please do not send messages intended only for an individual or subset of participants to the ShapingOurSummit@egroups.com address. Additionally, if you reply to a message sent by the eGroup, the whole group, not just the author of the original message, receives your reply. Sara Suriani of the Meridian Institute, will be working with Jennifer Pratt Miles to administer the eGroup. Specific instructions on accessing the web site (for recovering past messages, etc.), and important tips on the eGroup system are listed below. These will be useful in understanding this valuable communication tool.
