All the children in this orphange are named Ling. It is called The ShangRao Childrens Welfare Center.

The "Ling" orphanage ((Shangrao-Xinzhou District) opened in December 2003,
and submitted 29 children for adoption. In 2004, 186 children were submitted for
adoption. The number of submissions has been fairly steady through 2008. As of December
2008, over 800 children have been submitted for international adoption, making the
Xinzhou District the third largest orphanage in Jiangxi. International adoptions
account for 70% of all adoptions.

"Ling" kids are those found outside Shangrao itself. It is a very large area,
including many "orphanages", which are really better called "Welfare
Centers". "Fuliyuan", the word translated as "orphanage" in
English, is really a word that encompasses Old People'shomes, relief centers, etc. It is
not limited to orphanages. Over 75% of all children from Xinzhou are found at outlying
orphanages.

Many of the children cared for in the "Ling" orphanage are cared for by area
foster families, who care for between two and five children at a time.
