A group for exchanging information on Shaftswitching loom devices and techniques. All levels of weavers are welcome to join or just lurk. An archive of past posts and a photo page are maintained.
Members must be weavers; tell us a little about the equipment you are currently using to weave with, this helps me filter out spammers and purveyors of adult materials.
I recommend that you read Rug Weaving Techniques, Peter Collingwood's second book,
(free on line) if you haven't done so already, as it speeds up the AHA!
process.
If you're building a SS device for your loom, check out our archives
for sketches of tried & true designs by the list members. We try to
keep somewhat on topic but sometimes it strays a bit.
Photos of finished projects, studios, weavers or looms are fine.
