This group is open to those disabled that have trained their own Service dog, those considering training their own, or those with program dogs doing more/refreshing training. We are here to help with any training issues or questions you might have such as; ADA questions, training questions, access issues, behavioral issues, how to choose a service dog, issues with your health, etc.
All types of service/assistance dogs are welcome. THIS GROUP IS NOT THE APPROPRIATE FORUM FOR THERAPY DOGS.
Healthy discussions are welcomed and encouraged. Remember though, that people have different views, experiences, training and opinions and that even though we may not agree all the time, we need to be mindful/sensitive of others and not get upset over advise that is given. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions, as there are no stupid questions. Feel free to be yourself here. We want this to be a happy and safe group.
Be aware that this group is highly active and has many daily messages. Discussion is open here and is not always on topic. Being on digest may be more difficult than individual emails. We ask that within 24 hrs of joining, you post an introduction of yourself so we can get to know you, or your account will go into inactive status and be eligible for removal.
