Noble George Wilson was awarded the (2011) Antique Carriage Unit Driver of the Year Award. The award was in recognication for accumlating the most points for driving his 1921 Model "T" Ford in all offical shrine parades and attending all meetings and function for the Unit.

George fell in love with the Centerdoor Model "T" Ford years ago. He spent several years searching for one. Upon finding the one he currently owns, and convincing the owner to sell it he set out to enjoy his car.

About four or five years ago George decided he wanted the car restored to pristine, authentic condition. So, he shipped it off for a full restoration. This took three years and required replacement of many parts including the frame. The Ford came home restored to oriignal Ford specifications and with many authentic after market accessories.

The Model "T" Centerdoor sedan was the preminum car in the Ford line from mid 1914 until mid 1921.

George has been a long time member of Alzafar Shrine and The Antique Carriage Unit. He served as President of the unit in 2002.
