The inspiration for this yahoo group came from some parents, in another yahoo group, expressing the desire to connect with others who are teaching second grade for suggestions and ideas. There are so many rich ideas out there but sometimes it takes up a lot of precious time to search it out. Hopefully, this group can become a great resource for the many of us out there trying to teach our children in the best way possible and to instill in them a long lasting love of learning.

The goal of this group is to create an online community for parent home educators and teachers to share ideas on teaching Grade 2 with the Waldorf philosophy.

In the Files section there are files for each subject taught in the second grade and maybe a few more. Please share your own ideas, plans, resources, etc. with the group in the appropriate folders so that we can all benefit.

In the Links section there are also files for each subect so that we can all share different websites we have found that have helped.
