Welcome! This group is for quilters and stitchers who enjoy creating a block each month and at the end of the year, you will have enough blocks to make a quilt. We are a friendly, chatty group and share conversation about everything from quilting to family to the weather.
There are only a couple of rules.........you are not allowed to post any chain type e-mails. A new rule goes into effect January 1, 2012. If you join this group, you must introduce yourself within one week of joining and post at least once every six months. For members who are already in the group, you will need to post at least once this coming year. I do this because I feel that if you are in the group, it is only fair to participate. About once a month at our Friday Quilt-Ins, I offer prizes. I donate some and so do members of the group, I cover postage costs. Specific rules are given when prizes are offered.
Projects currently offered in this group.... I am once again offering my Angel Connection blocks. The designs are suitable for Redwork or traditional embroidery. A new block will be posted the first of each month (posted in the Files section of the group). I continue to share my Sampler BOM that I designed for friends at my church group, Hearthside Quilters in 2002. It's titled "Coming Home to Quilting". You'll also find the monthly blocks for my "Seasons of the Heart" series as they are still posted in the patterns section (designed in 2003 for Hearthside Quilters).
The Snowman series that I shared in 2009 is no longer available free. If you are interested in the Snowman designs, please e-mail me for info on the pattern set.
