Hello,this group is dedicated to posting pictures of the boardwalk in Seaside Heights and Seaside Park NJ past and present.Please feel free to post your own photos or picture postcards of this resort area.Also any links to other boardwalks are most welcome.

Please make sure you check out the 1960 Fun in the Sun in Seaside Heights Promotional film which is located in the links section.It's absolutely great to see all the old postcards come to life ! Also there is a link to a 1970s promo film that I just added.These films are a must for any Seaside Heights fan.
*** UPDATE *** 7/27/2011
I have just added a link to an 8 minute Youtube movie of the June 9th 1955 fire that destroyed much of the FUNTOWN PIER,then called Freemans.Also destroyed in the fire was the Dentzel Mueller Carousel.
Also added was a link to a Youtube movie of the June 10th,1965 Casino Pier fire.
And also a Then Now slide show by Author Christopher Vaz.

I am looking for any photos or home movies of the old Carousels from Funtown/Freemans.
1)The Dentzel Mueller that burned in the 1955 fire.
2)The Illions Carousel that was broken up in 1990.
Any photos would be greatly appreciated.
