After many years of working on my Babcock family history, and hitting brick wall, after brick wall, I thought I would start a group of lost Babcock's in hope of finding other's that are having the same problem, and maybe we can help each other.

My Babcock Family is from Michigan, Calhoun, Battle Creek, Wayne, Sheridan, and other surrounding areas.

Uriel E. Babcock, my great great grandfather was born Feb. 17th 1835 somewhere in Ohio, but moved to Michigan, and married Jane Lamont May 30th 1858. I have not been able to find his parents names.

The photo to your right is Lewis Dennis Babcock, son of Uriel E. Babcock.
He was born Jan. 6th 1868, in Sheridan Michigan.

Anyone that may have hit a brick wall with your Babcock family line, please list the names here at the group, and maybe you will find someone here that may have your missing link.
