Welcome everyone! This site was mainly created for those who live close to the New Windsor area, but all are welcome. We hope to share info. and be inspired from one another on our addictions to scrapbooking, card-making and/or rubber stamping. If in the past you've been described as a scrap-a-holic by a friend or a loved one, you are in the right place. You know you're a scrapaholic if you:
1. skimmed money to support your addiction (purchase supplies)
2. visit local SB stores at least twice a week, or more
3. desperately cut and copy more than one AC Moore or
Michael's 40/50% off coupons and you drag family and
friends to purchase a product ea. w/ a coupon in hand
4. you purchase the latest product and don't really need it, you just gotta have it
5. you own a scrapbooking store, or would like to
6. your 2 y.o. knows the scrapbooking store as the candy
store a candy to keep them quiet till you shop
7. if you know what "scraplifting" means and have allegedly been accused of it
8. you've been to the Martha Stewart Show during scrapbooking week and you don't even like her
9. if you know that UTEE is not a golf terminology.
10. if your neighbors think you go on vacation every
weekend when they see you lugging your totes into
your vehicle for some serious cropping.
:::Drum roll::: last but not least.
11. when you hurry the kids to school for a much needed
quiet scrapping time.
Did I miss any good ones?
To function in our world, we NEED to make time for ourselves to scrap w/ fellow scrappers, remain up-2-date w/ trends, techniques, products, tips, swaps, organization, conventions/expos, crops, local or not and weekend retreats.
This is a great way to get to know others who share the same passion as you. I look forward to sharing some fun scrapping time w/ everyone.
Remember, 1st step to recovery is admitting you're a scrap-a-holic.
Any suggestions?
