Welcome to the Scranton PA Freecycle. The idea behind Freecycle™ is keeping usable items out of landfills; recycling something you no longer need nor want and to give it to someone who may need for free.

There are some rules that we ask you to follow:

1. All items must be free. No money or bartering allowed. Do not reply to a wanted with an item for sale, if you do you will be removed from the Freecycle.

2. In the spirit of Freecycle™ We advise all new members to post an “offer” before requesting a “wanted”.

3. If you post a “wanted”, please make sure to wait 7-10 days before requesting it again.

4. Please use the proper headings in your emails and include your zip code as follows:

5. Please keep your posts brief and to the point. No spam, politics or flaming posts.

6. This is not a chat room, if you would like to speak to another member, email them personally.
