We are a real live group of friends who meet up socially on a fairly regular basis, who share a common interest in vampires of folklore and fiction

This Yahoo group exists primarily for members of the SVS. However, it is open to those individuals who cannot regularly attend meetings and like to keep in contact, or those globally who are also interested in the SVS.

We are not sanguarians, and any advocacy of blood-drinking will get one removed from the Yahoo group.

Are we real vampires? Only in the Byronic sense of the word. We are Romantic, rational, intelligent, artistic, and individualistic human beings with a passion for the Dark Aesthetic, not self-deluded creatures living in a fantasy world hoping to bolster our egos by claiming to be supernatural entities.
