Scanont was created back in 1998 as a place for scanning enthusiasts to discuss anything related to scanning in Ontario. This list is not connected in anyway with Ron Katz's old Ontscan site or the copycat Yahoo group Ontscan which has since popped up.
Here, you will find discussions on conventional frequencies, trunked systems, monitoring and the latest equipment. Discussions are not limited to just scanning but almost any subject concerning two way radio in general.
Frequencies, talkgroups, 10-codes, maps, scanner programming files are shared in the files section. If it's not there then ask one of the over 1700 members.
