Re: Savvy Diners Sarasota Re: Doggie Dining

My opinion is that Doggie Dining permits were just a knee jerk reaction to
accommodate those few people who think it appropriate to take an animal to a
restaurant.? Sorry dog lovers, but I think it is inappropriate to do so and I
have a dog.? Animals should wait at home for the bag from "Mom and Dad".

We were at Sun Garden on the Key recently for breakfast and a lady allowed her
small dog to sit on the table at the outside dining.? No one said anything, but
there were many "looks".? I love that place and think their food is far and away
above Broken Egg and the Village Cafe but might think about going back since I
won't know if Fido sat on my table.

Regards,
KK

Thanks Dan for the update, although it is surprising ...that the restaurants I
bring my dog to are not listed. I am sure they would like to be, as my dog and I
are always welcome with open arms (outside that is). I am glad to see this group
pick up again! Cheers!
