The San Leandro Community Action Network (SLCAN) formed the COALITION TO SAVE SAN LEANDRO HOSPITAL as a group of concerned individuals, medical professionals, faith-based organizations, unions, and others committed to keeping acute care services in San Leandro.

The COALITION will work with Sutter, the Eden Township Healthcare District, the Board of Supervisors, the City Council, and any other entity to find real solutions to the complex situation that now exists.

This group is for committing your labor and resources, as well as for sharing ideas and relevant information about what activities are occurring related to the hospital. Sutter representatives are the only people in this process who are getting paid to work on this issue (against our goal), thus the rest of us need to pool our resources to be effective. Let's do this together.
