Yule Ritual was today at 2pm.  In attendence were : Kalvin, Jan, Juli, Joelene,
JD, Cindy, Dorothy, and Michele.

Durning the ritual we did a rune stone pick, each person got to pick one, here
are the results of the pick:

Kalvin; ass-odin, wisdom
Dorothy; reid-wheel, travel
Shell; kaun-creativity, fire, light
Joelene; iss-ice, cold
Juli; jara-year, natural cycle
Cindy; sol-the sun, good health
Jan; madr- intelligence, culture
JD; dagaz- day, rousing



After the main right we asked the gods for insite, our omen was:

North, Duir - people feeling small, but we arent we can do this.
West, Saille - everything is washed out, cleared and clean.
West, Gort - stop holding back, its time to take action.

We thank the gods and goddesses for being apart of our rite, and we thank you
all for coming out.

YULE RITUAL

- because of all the snow, we will have ritual in the driveway; please watch for
the pile of firewood when you drive in

- also, dress warmly

that you also have to take down the decorations.

Shell submitted an article on our nemeton to Oak Leaves.

Sara has resigned as Scribe. Juli has offered to fill the position.

Did not co-ordinate with Flip about an advertisement in Oak Leaves, so it has
been postponed.

Community Service: Sending signed holiday cards to the recovering soldiers at
Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Please give any cards you have to Jan. Will
read: "Thank you for your service to our country; Friends from the EUP of MI"

Blue Moon falls on New Years Eve, so we will be having ritual at 8:00, followed
by a New Years Eve party. Please bring finger food.

I do not want the entire group seeing these photos.Because some may recognize
me.

Cindy sent around a notice about sending Christmas cards to the soldiers at Walter Reed Army Hospital.

Please THINK ABOUT what you want us to write in the cards:

"We appreciate your service...?"

ALSO - please bring any unused cards to the next meeting.

If you are not able to attend the meeting, but still want to take a part, PLEASE let me know before Saturday.
