ARANA, Sanskrit word meaning "A Place of Peaceful Abiding".

Sangha Arana is a community committed to practising Engaged Buddhism in the tradition of Zen teacher Thich Nhat Hanh. Its mission is living the bodhisattva ideal of the liberation of all beings from suffering and liberating ourselves from fear and illusions.

"The Bodhisattva sees the interdependent nature of all things, sees in one dharma all dharmas, sees in all dharmas one dharma, sees the multiplicity in the one and the one in the multiplicity, sees the one in the immeasurable and the immeasurable in the one.
