This group is for parents, who tend to stray away from mainstream thinking in many or all of their parenting practices. Attachment parenting principles, extended breastfeeding, homebirth, midwifery, anti-immunization, no circumcision, and homeschooling are just a few of the issues that separate us from mainstream parenting. We may also discuss other topics such as cloth diapering, tandem nursing, limited/no television, homeopathy and holistic practices, organically grown foods, vegan, and vegetarian practices. The list is endless; if you have a topic that fits, feel free to post it. We only ask that there is not any flaming, feel free to disagree in a mature and supportive manor. Sometimes it's hard to connect with others that do not share the same views.
