Description

In light of the devastating firestorms of 2003 and 2007, this forum is provided to discuss emergency communications specific to the San Diego Area.

Members and interested parties from public safety communications, Amateur Radio (HAM), Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service (RACES), Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES), American Red Cross, Salvation Army, Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT), SkyWarn, Military Affiliate Radio System (MARS) and any other organization connected with communications, emergency management and the like.

Not only should this venue fill the void of play-by-play, up-to-the-minute emergency news, but as a forum for technical issues as well.

Thank you
Arnie Lewin
