famous, but that hardly makes him a one-issue
candidate. You cannot name one instance of Audrey Silk deviating

from the Libertarian Party line.
Jim
When a candidate speaks on only one issue, except when specifically asked, that is a danger sign.
I heard Steve Kubby speak several times. Each time he spoke about only one issue, medical marijuana. Apparently, he has had quite a battle, serving prison sentences, fleeing the country, living in Canada or Mexico. Right now he lives in El Paso Texas, right on the border, probably so that he can slip across the border any time the authorities come after him.
Steve Kubby has been associated with the Libertarian Party for a long time and no doubt he knows the official party line well and will give the right answer if asked a question, but I do not consider him to be a good candidate if he only talks about one thing.
Same with Audrey Silk, only worse. Her one issue was the right to smoke in bars and restaurants. Libertarians agree with her in principle but there is no public support for her issue. At least with Medical Marijuana a significant percentage of the general public supports this.
I never heard Audrey Silk speak on any issue other than smokers rights. If you asked her about gun control or about anything else she would somehow change the subject back to smokers rights. See if you can find a counter-example.
Another problem with Audrey Silk is that she gave exactly the same speech every time. Apparently, a lot of Libertarians were very impressed with her the first time they heard her speak. If they had waited until they heard her speak a second and a third time and realized that she said word for word exactly the same thing, they would have been less impressed.
The real issue here is Bob Barr, the man who has made an amazing transformation from being a vehement anti-Libertarian to being an ardent Libertarian on every issue in just a few years. As far as I am concerned that is OK as long as he keeps up the Libertarian spiel until after the November election. I will not be happy if he does what Scott Jeffrey did, which was essentially to renounce the Libertarian platform as soon as he got his name on the ballot as our Libertarian candidate.
