Historic Sailboat Bend neighborhood, the only neighborhood designated as a historic district in the county of Broward, Florida. The boundaries of Sailboat Bend (in the city of Fort Lauderdale) are the F.E.C. Railroad tracks on the east, Broward Boulevard on the north and the New River on the south and west. Its name derives from the most severe bend of the river at the site of the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.
