The Sacramento Machine Knitters Guild meets the second and fourth Thursday of the month at 10am at St. Andrews Methodist Church.

Over the years, this group has seen many members come and go, but has managed to stay together and continue to support local machine knitters with it's bi-monthly training meetings. Each meeting, Mari Lynne or (one of our members) demonstrates a new technique and we all help each other by sharing information and knowledge of machine knitting. We are actively seeking new members to join our group and keep this wonderful artform alive.

You are not required to become a member to attend a Guild meeting or join the Guild to become a member of this Yahoo group - this site serves only as an on-line presence to let the public know about the Sacramento Machine Knitters Guild and when we are having our meetings and events.

There are benefits to joining this group which include emailed reminders of upcoming meetings, links to machine knitting related information and direct communication with other machine knitters in the area.

We encourage you to come to a meeting as our guest. If you decide to join the SMKG, the Sacramento Machine Knitter's Guild charges only a nominal membership fee which is donated to the church for the use of the meeting space. No other hidden fee's - just free training and helpful, friendly people!
