The Pink Pistols is a diverse group of people of all sexualities and lifestyles who are dedicated to the legal, safe, and responsible use of firearms for self-defense of the sexual-minority community. We no longer believe it is the right of those who hate and fear gay, lesbian, bi, trans, or polyamorous persons to use us as targets for their rage. Self-defense is a basic HUMAN RIGHT. The more people who know that members of our community may be skilled and armed, the less likely they will be to single us out for attack.

As a local chapter of the Pink Pistols, our main purpose as a group is to practice our firearms skills, educate people about the benefits of self-defense, and affect the climate of ideas. We seek to provide a friendly atmosphere for GLBTQ folks -- as well as our straight friends -- with an interest in shooting sports and self defense. While we are specifically accepting of subcultures, we honor diversity of all kinds and are open to anyone who is interested in shooting, regardless of sexual orientation or shooting experience. We welcome new shooters into the sport, and we strive to build bridges between the shooting community and other communities, such as those based on uncommon sexualities.
