Description

EZ 20: 11-12 And I gave them my statutes, and shewed them my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them. Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them (KJV).

SHALOM!

Welcome to SabbathConnections! The purpose of these pages is to connect those interested to accurate Biblical truth about the weekly and annual Sabbaths. Below are "Basic Tenets" and we invite you to read the "Links" to learn more.

BASIC TENETS

*the Bible is the Pure Word of God the Father and through personal study with the light of the Holy Spirit, we can come to know our Father's will
(2Ti 2:15-16);
*the church of God (ekklesia) consists of those called out and joined into one spiritual body, of which Christ / Yeshua Ha Mashiach is the Head (Mt 16:18-19; Jn 17:11-27; 1Co 12:1-31;);
*the church loves our Father by striving to obey His Ten Commandments, including keeping the seventh day Sabbath / Shabbat holy and sanctified (Ge 2:2-3; Ex 20:1-17; Ez 20:11-12);
* the annual holy days foreshadow the steps of our Father's plan of salvation, which is to be fulfilled only through Christ / Yeshua Ha Mashiach;
* salvation is freely available to all repentant sinners solely through the reality of Christ / Yeshua Ha Mashiach, our High Priest (Ez 20:11-12; Ga 4: 21-31);
*the eating of unleavened bread and drinking of unfermented wine as memorials to Christ / Yeshua Ha Mashiach
(Lk 22: 19-20; 1Co 11:23-26; Le 10: 8-11;).
