Schoolchildren, Pedestrians and Equestrians Enjoy Dropmore.

This group was set up for locals and all other interested parties trying to get additional speed restrictions implemented in the Dropmore area of South Buckinghamshire, England. This followed several accidents and at least one fatality in the area, and many of us were concerned at the high car speeds in an area previously enjoyed by walkers, riders, etc.

Following consultation with the local authorities, speed limits were put in place. The first task of this group is therefore complete. Rather than remove the group, this page will remain in existence and can perhaps serve as an inspiration and a model for others who may be in a similar situation in future.
