Southwest Missouri Foxhunters are a group of mostly Hams (but non-Hams can play too) who enjoy having FUN playing “Hide-N-Seek” by hiding low-powered radio transmitters (the Foxes), and using Radio Direction Finding equipment to find the hidden Foxes.

The Mission of Southwest Missouri Foxhunters is to HAVE FUN, but the skills learned while having fun are useful for serious activities such as locating repeater jammers, RFI sources, lost aircraft, etc.

Foxhunts will normally be scheduled monthly, with times & starting locations TBA. A gathering of the Foxhounds after hunts for war-stories, tall-tales, camraderie, food & beverage will be the norm.

The Membership requirement is extremely arduous: You MUST be ready, willing, and able to HAVE FUN (others will be allowed to participate on a probationary basis). All Foxhunters (or wannabies) are welcome at our events, and are encouraged to bring offspring, spouses, & guests.

There will be NO Dues.
