The intention of this monthly newsletter is to provide timely information to the community of contemplatives who adhere to a non-dualistic philosophy, such as Theravada Buddhism and Advaita Vedanta and seek a post-absorption (jhana) insight practice, such as vipassana and satipatthana meditation. Support is also provided for meditation practitioners who have ecstatic experiences (jhana). This publication also recognizes these concepts are available within the traditions of Dzogchen and Mahamudra in Vajrayana Buddhism, as well as prajna in Chan/Zen. This newsletter principally serves Theravadan practitioners in the Southwestern USA, but we serve Christian contemplatives and Sufis as well. The E'letter offers a monthly calendar of retreats and other related activities You are welcome to forward, reproduce or copy in anyway or part, this newsletter for the furthering and dissemination of the practice of insight meditation, and non-dualist philosophy.
