Stonycreek has started this group for the collectors and shooters of TEC-9 family of firearms. The Intratec company is now out of business but the fans of these interesting firearms still enjoy the pistols.

The Intratec TEC-9 & TEC DC9 are descendants of the MP-9 designed by Interdynamic AB of Sweden. The MP-9 SMG was redesigned in America as the KG-9, an open bolt semi-auto pistol that the BATF deemed, almost immediately, a machine gun due to the ease of conversion to full auto fire. The KG-99 was the semi-auto, closed bolt replacement that is the direct predecessor to the TEC-9 & TEC DC9. The name of the gun changed when Interdynamic of America reorganized to Intratec, later to be under the umbrella of Navegar.
