In the last fifteen years samba has become a very popular art form and samba schools have sprung up all over the UK and Europe. We maintain close links with many of these groups and others from all over Europe who come and parade with us at the Notting Hill Carnival. The LSS was formed in 1984 by a group of South American and European musicians who shared a love of Brazilian music and carnival tradition.
