SOMA West Coast Mushroom Identification is a group devoted to digital photos of mushrooms and other fungi. Attachments are allowed and hopefully someone in the group can help with an identification. Please try to show all of the features of the fungus and tell where it was collected. The general location narrows down the possibilities! After all, the mushrooms in the Mojave Desert are different from the mushrooms in the Aspen stands of Idaho.

Photos must be less than 1 megabyte and © always remains with the photographer so ask permission before using someone's photo.
