You can't use art to establish the skull type but you can use skulls to determine race and what part of the world some one's ancestors came from.
Simply watch some forensic science programs in which they find nothing but skulls then determine race, age and what part of the world they came from... and then use the reconstructed skulls to actually identify murder victims.
I'm not saying that the facts have to fit established theories, I'm
just asking what exactly are your facts? How do you PROVE that art
and statuary have a particular type skull? Homo-sapien, alien, or
otherwise? I didn't know statues and art had skulls unless the art IS
a skull! I'm saying you can propose THEORIES about the shape of heads
resembling this and that but you can't prove it. Science NEVER proves
anything, it can only disprove and only with MANY sources of evidence
to do so. Most of our scientific theories are just that - theories.
But I can see how using actual skulls and even mummies can provide
better facts to form theories.
There is no scientific "rule" that says the Egyptians were homo-
sapiens, it is just commonly accepted. Truthfully, I'm in the dark
about what exactly your theories are and where you are getting your
theories and facts. Religious texts are not necessarly facts... I
assume you haven't examined the mummies, skulls and art yourself hands
on.
