This list is for families interested in obtaining more information about South Orange County Homeschooling Support Group (SOCHS). Our home school group serves communities that are south of Los Angeles and north of San Diego located in Southern California. The majority of our members are from San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Dana Point, Aliso Viejo, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Foothill Ranch, Irvine, Huntington Beach Newport Beach.

SOCHS exists as an inclusive, non-religious group of families which welcomes many different styles of home learning. We are formed by families wishing to provide an enriching environment of learning activities and fun for our children. We are a member directed support group.

This E-Mail list provides regular updates regarding our activities and shared resources. It is an informal way for those interested to keep up-to-date with what we are currently offering. This is not our discussion list, but rather a starting point for those home schooling families who would like the option of knowing what our group is doing and when. We typically have 2-3 park or beach days per week, 2-3 field trips per month, we have an active kid's book club, a parent's book club, mom's night out and family day per month.

No one is to use this list, or the information it provides to come to an event in order to sell products or services.
