A Single Mother by Choice is a woman who has chosen to become a single mom either by traditional adoption, artificial insemination (using either donor sperm, donor egg or both), donor embryo adoption, or natural conception where the biological father is not involved in her or her child's life.

This forum is for Single Mothers who have had their kids and now need a place to discuss mothering issues from an SMC perspective. This isn't a group about conception topics since we've got our kids already. It's a forum to discuss how to parent on a single income and one set of hands.

The requirements for this group is that you are a SMC. This is a closed group so approval is required before you can join. This is also a moderated group with rules of ettiquette. Any violation of these rules will result in being banned from this group. We want a supportive and productive environment here ladies!
