This is the online forum for a group of Single Mothers by Choice or "Choice Moms" who live in Ottawa and the surrounding area. This list discusses issues in a context where a single woman made a deliberate choice to be a mother. All women who are somewhere along the SMC path are welcome to participate: thinkers, tryers (biologically or by adoption), and mothers. Members can talk about milestones along their path, ask questions or share concerns. The group also meets periodically, mostly at members' homes.
