We have prospective buyers as members on this List. Some have said they want to rent first while getting to know San Miguel, which is why we welcome rental listings and sublets when you're travelling. We are now in the Yahoo international Directory, so expect this list to grow over time.

If you've not had "bites" on your property, chances are it's overpriced. Advertising here and selling privately may be your solution to attracting buyers as they'll find our Group while searching under SMA.

Listings are limited to San Miguel, but links outside of SMA are fine if they relate to real estate issues that may affect SMA residents. Discussion of all things to do with real estate is encouraged...inspection services, property management, working with Notario etc. Links to agent/realtor listings and home pages are NOT permitted but a file can be added for these. IMPORTANT: If you're not the Owner/Landlord/Renter (for sublets) please do NOT post listings on behalf of others. Instead show them how to join. The sharing of rental experiences, referrals, complaints is encouraged.

To prevent lengthy threads, please remember to trim all but last post and sign each time using your real name and contact info.

Lastly, if you have a home for sale or a rental and are looking for results, consider opening a photo album with the title including your posting number that includes full description and asking price (not including a price frustrates members!) It WILL give you an advantage over the others. Having a pet-friendly rental can also give you an edge. If looking for a rental, include your budget range as well as specific dates and list of desired amenities.
