NOTE: WE ARE YOUR DOGS' ADVOCATE.
We use positive reward based training that exudes motivation and confidence in your dog. We emphasize socialization, manners, and controlling the environment to keep problems from emerging, and then later adding distractions..
Regardless of the task, dogs can only be successful if they know their job, so just like training dogs for other activities, the sport is broken down, into pieces, components, or building blocks which are taught, trained, practiced, and later sequenced or chained together to create a complete task/exercise. In this manner we can better ensure that your dog has a better chance of success.
We avoid "lumping" and excessive combining of elements, (or doing too much too soon), in order to eliminate or minimize stress and frustration for you, and most importantly for your dog.
The "instruction by immersion" and mass training approach can be way too stressful for your dog. We prefer a more individualized "no dog left behind" approach.
By training the basics in a systematic progression, you and your dog should be able to avoid the pitfalls and frustration of chase dependency and other issues created by methods which attempt to provide quick gratification with a false illusion of learning.
It will take a little bit of time and work to learn the basics yourself and to train your dog, so remember to HAVE FUN and enjoy the experiences and the growth during the rewarding journey.
REMEMBER:IT IS ALL ABOUT THE DOGS.
We promote events and activities that promote a good sport image.
