This group is for members of the San Joaquin Paddlers; a club for people who canoe, kayak, raft or otherwise explore rivers, lakes, ocean and other waterways. The list is especially meant to facilitate trip planning, and trip reports (tall tales). Discussions of river conservation and access issues, gear, and technique are also encouraged.

Be polite and send messages only when many people might be interested in the message. Use private email when conversing with only one other person.

When signing up, please also send an email to SJPaddlers-listowner@yahoogroups.com with your real name and a brief description of your interests in paddling. Once you are accepted, please send a note to the group introducing yourself, telling not only your interests in paddling but in any other outdoor activities as well. Club members naturally have a wide range of interests and skills.
