San Jose District 6 Neighborhood and Community Leaders Group (SJ-D6NL)-

Committees meet from 9-10 am with General Meeting 10-12 noon

SJ-D6NL is a self directed group of independent neighborhood, neighborhood business, school and community leaders organized to improve communications, discuss issues, develop position papers, share resources, take common actions and make recommendations to elected officials and others to improve our district's neighborhoods, business districts, schools and community.

We discuss district and city code enforcement, neighborhood business and schools, parking / vehicle abatement and district planning and land use issues and have workshops on planning and land use, airport, city budgeting etc.

Each association or organization remains independent to express their position. Neighborhood/s affected by projects, policy or issues make the decisions or recommendations on issues or policy. Non affected neighborhoods or organizations are asked to strongly support these position/s.

To encourage maximum participation, SJ-D6NL email should be courteous, clear, concise, positive and NOT be used for business promotion or solicitation, political campaigning or lobbying.

SJ-D6NL is non-partisan, does NOT endorse or oppose political candidates or political parties. We actively support diversity and non discrimination. Individual members can express their individual free speech rights but are prohibited from acting in name of SJ-D6NL.
